Class Experience

Students will learn how long to estimate for tasks, the importance of time management and the value of time management. Students will create a paper clock and practice estimating how long a task will take. Students will discuss what things they most highly value to spend their time on. Students will be able to use examples from Harry Potter to determine ways to streamline their time management skills.
Informal checks will be performed orally throughout the class. The last class period will evaluate each student's time management skills with a combination of self reporting and in class estimation of the time a class takes to complete.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
