This is a 1-day introductory level class. No prior anatomy or science experience is required. This class is also available as part of an ongoing series of classes: “I'm Alive! An Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology" Learners will join in on an interactive lecture using Nearpod.com. I have over 13 years experience teaching anatomy and physiology, which includes topics that are sensitive to some learners. At the beginning of class, all learners are made aware that I am open to questions and that the chat is always set to private for any questions or comments. This course is primarily an anatomy class. Sensitive topics around sex and reproductive organs will be approached from an anatomy-physiology-factual standpoint.
Homework Offered
An optional study guide can be downloaded or printed out before class to help the learner follow along in lecture. Study guides can be completed during class time.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
