Class Experience
In this class, students learn how to create their own animation cartoon film through the process called "Rotoscoping", the process of manually altering film footage one frame at a time. Many animated films, old and new, from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" to "A Scanner Darkly" and "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", were all created using rotoscoping effects. 1 file available upon enrollment【Materials Needed】 ✓ Smartphone or Tablet with Android or iOS (iPad, iPhone) ✓ Flipaclip App Software (For Android or iOS) (Or the Bluestacks emulator can be installed on a PC or Mac to run the sotware: https://www.bluestacks.com/download.html) 【Optional】 ✓ Comica Video (or some other video effects software) 📢 Please install Zoom on the same device as the Flipaclip. That way the instructor will be able to see what the student is doing and be able to help the student if they are having any difficulties. And it makes it much easier for the student to share their videos with the rest of the class.
