Hello, I am a certified teacher with 10+ years of professional experience in the classroom and online! In this four part class, I will teach learners how to produce four songs from scratch using the free app Garageband on an iPad/iPhone. Each class, I will share my screen and guide learners through a step by step process of how they can create their own version of a song by following the structure of the week and customizing along the way. Week of Sunday, February 4th: I-V-vi-IV (Major in 4/4) Week of Sunday, February 11th: I-IV-V (Major in 3/4) Week of Sunday, February 18th: i–iv–v–i (Minor in 4/4) Week of Sunday, February 25th: I7-IV7-V7 (Blues in 4/4) I hope to see you soon! Parental Guidance
Children will need an iPad or iPhone with Garageband and at least 1-2GB of space available on the iPad to ensure the app runs smoothly and can save the project at the end.
