By the end of class, each student will have at least two cards ready for display or gifting! We'll create as many cards as we have time for during class! Designs I'll provide include: 1. This class is a combination of so many things I love: paper arts, three-dimensional design, and of course the holiday spirit! I have always believed that a heartfelt handmade craft is a wonderful gift, and am looking forward to helping my students design some for their families!
We will create as many card designs as time allows (at least two!), but students may wish to add further details on their own after class has ended.
1 file available upon enrollmentHandouts with templates for creating cutouts for elements of the cards will be provided. These sheets should be printed out before class begins. **Younger students and those who have difficulty cutting may also wish to pre-cut pieces before class. Students will also need: -scissors -ruler -white glue and/or glue stick -construction paper or cardstock in colors desired (suggested colors: green, dark blue, light blue, white, black, red, yellow) -markers or crayons Optional supplies: -one-hole punch -tape (in case the glue doesn't do the job!) -trash can, conveniently located nearby
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Younger students, or students who have difficulty cutting or gluing may require some parental assistance.
