Phonics can be a challenge! Let me help your little learn phonics and have fun throughout the process. We will discuss letter sounds, combined letter sounds, and combining the sounds into words.
Class experience
Hello! This class will focus on phonics and letter sounds! Phonics can be challenging but the goal of this class is to go through all the base letter sounds, then go through multi letter sounds (such as ch, igh, ough), work on sounding out bigger words using those sounds and finally building sentences using words and sounds while doing an encompassing review throughout.
12 lessons//12 Weeks

For example taking the word "Work" and going through each sound W ; O ; R ; K and then end by combining them into the word.Week 12Lesson 12Word BuildingWe will continue working with larger words and sounding them out using sounds.
This class is taught in English.
I have worked one on one with this age demographics with reading and phonics. I tutored kindergarteners in reading for multiple years. Additionally I have worked at 2 different Kumon Learning locations where I worked with ages 3-18 and more specifically worked one on one with ages 3-6 specifically on sounds, letter recognition and furthering reading.
There should not be any content that is upsetting to learners. I will be planning to use very common words to practice with. I am more than happy to supply the words and sentences ahead of time to parents if there is any concern.
I will be providing material. The material will simply consist of the individual letters, the multi letter phonograms, and then words and sentences. I will not be using a commercial based curriculum.
