Description
Class Experience
Student will complete the appropriate grade Math skills as decided upon. During class we will use various tools and skills to practice the Math successfully. With student cooperation improvement occurs!
Approximately ten years ago I found my calling - my niche. Since then I have been teaching or tutoring elementary and middle school students in every subject with a focus upon Math. My specialty of teaching the Multiplication Tables came in very handy as public schools reduced this emphasis. I am also TESL certified through two companies. For the last three years I have been online or face-to-face tutoring Math and Language Arts to elementary and middle school students. In that span I have taught over 3,000 lessons. Positive encouragement and creating opportunities for student success are driving forces in my classroom.
NO - unless requested Note: If a student is lacking in multiplication skills I may suggest some extra work because it is the basis for all other Math skills.
* paper & pencil at every class (just in case) * NOTE: students will be participating and using the Zoom "Whiteboard". A laptop or iphone work best, NOT the tablets or small notebooks.
Primary assessment will occur during the class Math practices.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
