Description
Class Experience
I'm cool with awkward moments and silence. Growth happens in discomfort. I leave space for connection. I do make sure everyone gets a turn to speak, keep things safe, and as much as possible, I try to stay out of the way. This is a learner driven class. They are getting to know new people. I often don't know what they are talking about, and don't plan on keeping up with trends. I'm curious when I can be, but I know enough to back off if the group is connecting over something that I've never heard of. They aren't here for another adult perspective. I see their strengths. Every person has value to offer and I am passionate about making an open space for learners to share and connect. I laugh at all the jokes 😉
I strongly recommend a mic and headphones for this class. We want to hear what you have to say!
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This is a facilitated, not an instructional class. There is no content on "How to Make Friends". This is a social space where learners are encouraged to share things that are important or interesting to them.
