Class experience
Welcome to this fun class where we will talk while we work on this great project! I will ask the learners to put a t-shirt on the table or floor where I will then instruct them how to use just a pair of scissors to turn the t-shirt into a creative bag that can be used to carry things. The point of this class is for learners to use t-shirts that no longer fit or use a t-shirt that is a little worn. We will talk about how we can do our part to help Earth and start living a more sustainable...
I have a degree in Fashion, Business Marketing, and a Masters in Special Education. I am creative and I welcome ways to help our planet one bag at a time. I have taught this class in various places and it is fun and a great effort for helping our planet. I was also featured in an article about sustainable living. You will need 1 shirt & fabric scissors & measuring tape meant for sewing, marking pen, fabric paint, stencils, paint brushes, and newspapers . You can decorate your bag as you wish. I will show you some examples.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Dear parents, please make sure that you are near your child because we will be using scissors.
