I will be teaching about different makeup products and their uses. I will be using my products to show how they are used and how to apply them. I will discuss the different types of brushes and sponges that can be used to apply makeup. I will also cover skincare and the basics for a good base. I will be teaching the class over video chat so that I can interact with students and show them in real time how to apply and what the products look like. I will go through each step with my students so they can see and hear the steps. I would students to feel free to ask questions as the course goes on. Questions help solidify the learning process. In the 1st and 2nd week I will be covering skincare and a good base and then the different beauty tools and products used for makeup as well as how to care for makeup brushes, like washing them and the brushes that are used for each product. During weeks 3 and 4 I will be covering the base/foundation along with tips and tricks I have come across for applying my makeup and then I will cover a basic/simple eye look. In week 5 we will review Weeks 1-4 and move onto the application of makeup and choosing the best tool for each step, as well as best matches for color and placement. Week 6 will be combining the skills from the previous 5 weeks and learning new tricks to mix up the looks. Overall I hope to encourage exploration in makeup and placement as well as the best care and upkeep for skin and tools.
