During this class, students who are beginners in makeup will learn a simple, easy, and beautiful look! This course will go over a full face makeup look. After each student introduces themselves, I will go over how to moisturize, apply sunscreen, and prime the face. Then I will go over how to correctly apply foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, mascara, and lipstick. I will also cover how to fill in the eyebrows, contour/highlight the face, and apply blush. All steps will be demonstrated and I will go into detail on each step. My neat tips and tricks for beautiful results will also be included. Putting on makeup with others is a fun and interactive way for everyone to get to know each other. My class is a space where students can feel comfortable voicing out their opinions while putting on makeup at the same time. Discussion topics may include: - what do you like about makeup? - what is your favorite makeup product? - what makeup looks would you like to try? - what is one makeup skill that you would like to perfect? - what do you like to do in your free time? I believe that makeup is all about accentuating our features. It is also a powerful way to boost our confidence which is what I want for all of my students. By the end of this class, students will know the basics of makeup and how to create a beautiful look on themselves! I recommend students to come to class with a clean washed face and clean hands. *This “Makeup Extravaganza” course is made for beginners, but students at any level of makeup are free to enroll!

Makeup Supplies: - Facial moisturizer - Sunscreen - Face primer - Foundation - Concealer - Face powder - Eyebrow products (powder, gel, pencil, or pomade) - Eyebrow brush - Favorite eyeshadow colors - Brown and pink colors for contour and blush - Black eyeshadow or eyeliner - Highlight product - Mascara - Eyelash curler - Lipstick - Setting Spray - Paper towels - A mirror Brushes: - Flat foundation brush - Beauty blender or a stiff-haired brush to blend out foundation - A fluffy brush - Flat angled eyebrow brush (only for eyebrow powder or pomade) - Stiff-haired eyebrow brush

Hello, my name is Roxanne!
I have been teaching for over 4 years now. I was an occupational teacher for 6th graders for 2 years. I was a teacher's assistant for high school students for 2 years. I have taught dance for over 4 years. Also, I am currently an online english teacher for children in China.
I believe that when classes are fun, relatable, interactive, and creative students are more willing to learn. Knowing that I can help others learn something new everyday is so fulfilling to me. My philosophy is if students put in the work and effort they can get good results in ANYTHING they put their mind into.
I have been a dancer for over 17 years. I know all kinds of dances such as, ballroom, contemporary, hiphop, modern and latin dancing. Dancing is a fantastic way to express ourselves using our bodies and music. Being a dancer has taught me to never give up and to always chase my dreams. That is exactly what I want my students to learn. I would love to teach dance to anyone who would like to develop their dancing skills!
Aside from dancing, I love to sing and play the guitar. My family has always been able to play musical instruments. We also have many karaoke nights with our portable karaoke machine. I grew up with a lot of music in the house and I am SO lucky and grateful for that! :)Reviews
