Led by Actress and freelance MUA, students will meet weekly to practice makeup looks, chat about self-confidence/affirmations to help us feel our best, and practice self-care! My teaching approach to this class is simply to provide a safe environment for students to relax with friends while doing something creative and up-lifting. In this class we will go over a variety of makeup trends such as the ‘no makeup’ makeup look, soft glam, etc. Each week, I will either demonstrate a step by step makeup look for students to follow, or do a self care activity with students all while chatting about self-confidence and how to use positive affirmations to help you feel your absolute best! This will be an interactive class so questions are more than welcome. Each class will be structured with a check-in and then we will go right into our makeup look or self-care activity. Please ensure when using brushes and applicators that they are kept clean to avoid any skin/eye irritations. Makeup may stain or damage furniture and clothing so make sure to take preventative measures. Make sure the student has access to a mirror. Teacher expertise and credentials
Bonjour! My name is Madison. I teach French 101 for kids (+homework help) and beginner French for teens and adults. I graduated as a bilingual honours student and have since taught French and Math to a 3/4 split class.
I teach acting related classes for kiddos. I have been training for 5+ years at places such as The Second City in Toronto and Groundlings LA.
I also teach an intro to makeup for teens! This class will help you with all the basics and is designed for the absolute beginner.
As a teacher, I believe it is important to make the concepts I am teaching as memorable as possible. In my French classes, I like to explore new concepts slowly like enjoying a nice meal. Making sure my students are content and confident before moving on to the next thing. When it comes to acting with kiddos, the main goal is also to build confidence with a large emphasis on fun. Acting is all about playing around with different ideas so a supportive and nurturing environment is what I provide.
Something fun about me is that I have worked professionally in the film industry for the last 3 years!
