In this course, make-up basics will be taught from the tools that should be used to the age-appropriate application of make-up. Students are expected to come with clean bare faces and the class will be primarily taught by example. I will cover topics that include: understanding face/eye shape, how to how to select the appropriate shadow color(s) for eyes, foundation and concealer basics, eyebrow shaping, and appropriate application of facial make-up. I like to engage with students and will begin introductions and the goals for each look. I will check-in with each learner and encourage them to check-in with each other by providing affirmations around their creativity and successful application of the make-up. No prior experience is needed. Over the time of the course (five days/consecutive), we will cover the following topics: 1. Face shape basics and appropriate tools 2. Framing the face: Foundation, concealer, brows 3. All about eyes: eye shadow, mascara, eye liner 4. Catching the angles: Highlighters, shimmers, and lips 5. Protecting your skin: primers, moisturizers, make-up removers 6. How to create a simple, effortless look

Learners will not only learn how to apply make-up, but receive affirmations and gain confidence in their creative explorations around make-up for the yes.

Supply List
Supplies needed for this course include: (1) Eye-shadow of at least one color (any color); (2) make-up brushes or wands for eye-shadow, (3) a cleansing towelette and/or clean and moist cloth; (3) other make-up supplies including mascara, eyeliner, primer, etc.
