Are you interested in learning to use makeup? Are you interested in boosting your self-esteem and learning to express yourself artistically in a new way? Are you interested in being a part of an inclusive community where we believe everyone is beautiful and embrace our unique qualities? Join me to learn about the basics of the makeup application process. In this class for beginners, students will learn to do a soft makeup look that will enhance their natural features. All products are optional; students are encouraged to use what they already have. To get the most out of class, students may want to bring a powder foundation, two shades of blush, highlighter, mascara, eyebrow gel, a lip product, and a face brush and a fluffy eye brush. All products I will be using to demonstrate are shown in the image. Some affordable suggested products are listed below. Feel free to contact me with any questions about products. Powder foundation: J.Cat Aquasurance Powder Foundation, available at Amazon or Ulta Blushes and highlighter: CoverGirl Instant Cheekbones in any color, available at Amazon Mascara: Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara, available at Amazon or Ulta Eyebrow gel: E.L.F. Cosmetics Wow Brow Gel or Essence Make Me Brow, available at Ulta Lips: Any lipstick, tinted lip balm, or lip gloss will be beautiful. I will be using a ColourPop lip crayon. Other great options are the Essence Shine Shine Shine lip glosses or the Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine lipsticks. 45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Although severe reactions are rare, it is a good idea to test these products out ahead of time to ensure that they do not cause any kind of allergic reaction.
