1 hour per week. There is no assigned homework for this class however, your child may choose to finish their project after class should they not finish within the time allotted.Class Experience
In this class, your child will learn what a goal board is and the purpose behind it. The class will then break out into a guided discussion about personal goals, dreams, hopes, and wants for the upcoming year. Topics to be discussed: What type of person do I want to become in 2023? What do I hope to get better at? What things do I need to have or do to help achieve that goal? After this discussion, students will share their thoughts about how they will create their vision board and what they want to include in it. Your child will then get their creative juices flowing. Using the materials they prepared ahead of time, they will create a personal goal board for the year 2023. The more creative, the better! *Supplies will be listed below in the supply section. Please have all supplies ready for class so no time is wasted looking for items.

The main learning goal of this class is for your child to leave with a visual reminder of their most important goals for 2023.

Posterboard (size of your choice) Glue or tape Markers or colored pencils Printed words, pictures, newspaper articles, magazines clippings, Clip art, drawings, Songs, Poems Optional: Scrap Booking items from a craft store, gems, flowers, stickers **Creativity!!! Gather anything else that will make your board memorable and attractive to you.**
