I have been using WordPress for about 10 years. It is a fun tool that lets the beginner develop a fully functional website that can be used on the phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop, and it is easy to make updates and changes without having to do any coding!
Students have assignments after each class (video). They should post their progress in the classroom (share the link to their websites). I will provide feedback (video if needed) to help them move forward. By Day Five of Week Two, please add a post a video to the discussion thread: share the URL to your website and discuss your experience using the dashboard and choosing a theme for your WordPress website. Provide feedback to classmates. By Day Five of Week Three, please add a post to the discussion thread: share the URL to your website and discuss progress adding text, video, and other media; also, provide feedback on classmate's projects By Day Five of Week Four, please add a post to the discussion thread: share the URL to your website and discuss your work with plugins; also, provide feedback on classmate's projects. By Day Five of Week Five, please add a post to the discussion thread: share the URL to your website and discuss your work with plugins and use of widgets; also, provide feedback on classmate's projects. By Day Six of Week Six, please add a post to the discussion thread: share the URL to your final project and a video sharing changes/revisions/improvements made based on feedback
Students will be assessed by their progress with their website
