In this one-time course, learners will create their own mini book. This is a guided writing class where learners will learn five new sight words to read, spell, and use in their very own book!

Class Experience

In this one-time course, learners will create their own mini book. I will be providing a two-page template print-out that learners can use for our class. 

Learners will learn FIVE sight words. Then, they will use these sight words to create their own sentences that they will write in their own mini book. I will be guiding them through writing techniques, sentence structure and spelling.

  1 file available upon enrollmentA 3-page handout will be provided before the start of class. The pages should be cut horizontally along the broken lines to create a 5-page mini book (an extra page for mistakes). Please do not staple until class the learner has completed all the pages. 
Learners will need pencil, eraser, and coloring materials (pencil crayons, markers, or crayons).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
