Class Experience

In this 3 week class, students will learn how to create their own unique, original, personalized Pokemon cards from start to finish!

Week 1: IMAGING & CREATING
Week 2: CARDMAKING
Week 3: PRINTING

On week 1, we will explore the depths of our imagination and the exact steps it takes to create your very own Pokemon (what attributes, traits, and other creative writing, world-building skills we will learn/use). Also we will learn how to formally create an art sketch that we can use for week 2.

On week 2 students will receive 1:1 feedback and a review on the progress of their creative writing and art creation so far. We will then take their creations, and they will learn the second phase of this process-- how to take their ideas and merge them into creating the actual cards. We will learn the various steps of creating and utilizing card templates in ways that are customizable.

On week 3, students will complete the last phase of the course, and learn how to take their card setups and be able to print them. Students will explore the different options regarding how to print customized pokemon cards on a professional quality level.

Students may take this class more than once if they wish to create new Pokemon cards each time or more frequently.
