In this one-time course, students will measure out common spices to create a hamburger seasoning. We will also create a label for a spice bottle or jar.

Description
Class Experience
Students will use measuring spoons to measure out spices. Students will follow directions to make a seasoning rub and to draw a hamburger. Students will create a label for their spice container.
If needed, students can finish their label after class.
a small container with a lid for your spice rub measuring spoons (1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, 1 tbsp) commonly found spices (a list will be provided) paper, pencil, coloring utencils a template for your label will be provided
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents may need to stay close to help, especially with learners who are not really familiar with measuring dry ingredients.
