Make Your Own Friendship Bracelets
Each week students will learn a different type of friendship bracelet using beautifully colored thread of their choice. This is an ongoing class, students can join at any time.

I am an extremely laid back art teacher who has been teaching for 19 years. My teaching style consists Students will learn how to make a different friendship bracelet each class. Different methods and techniques will be taught to ensure all students understand. Students will be able to interact after the direct instruction. I like to start with introductions of each student using the grid view on zoom. After that students can pin my video to see a larger view of the lesson. Students are encouraged to ask clarifying questions of the teacher and students in the class.
Learning Goals
Students will:
Each week students will learn a different technique in order to create different kinds of bracelets.
Learn how to tie knots using thread
Learn how to secure thread with tape or safety pin.
Learn how to create patterns with tying string to make a gorgeous bracelet

Parental Guidance
If students chose to use a safety pin, please be sure they are old enough to know how to use it without getting hurt.

Embroidery thread Masking tape, duct tape or safety pin
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
