Description
Class Experience
The students will craft along with the teacher.
I am a K-6 Pennsylvania certified teacher. I also have a passion for crafting. All of my classes were developed and tested out on my own children first :)
For this avocado pop-it fidget toy you will need... -2 pieces of green craft foam (the color you want your avocado to be) -1 piece of thin cardboard -1-2 pieces of brown craft foam -scissors -hot glue gun -a hair straightener -a medicine cup (or shot glass) -a marble or ball that fits inside the cup (we will use this to shape our pop-it) -Permeant markers to decorate the face & avocado. (I used dark green, black, pink & red)
The students will be assessed based on participation.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This class does require a hot glue-gun. There are many options of glue-guns for children that are not as hot. This class also requires the use of a hair straightener.
