Make-Up Tricks: The Natural Make-Up Look (Age Appropriate)

This class will teach young girls how to apply make-up so that it looks natural and lasts all day. Learning to apply foundation, blush, lipstick, mascara, and the dreaded eyeliner can be a difficult combination of tasks for a beginner. The ultimate goal when applying make-up is to create the illusion that there is no make-up at all while highlighting the individual's best features. This class focuses on creating age-appropriate and natural looks to enhance a young girl's confidence in her make-up application abilities. The class is concluded with a reminder that beauty starts from inner confidence, understanding self-worth, and most of all NOT relying on make-up to feel beautiful. 

Although this is a Flex class, there will be a high-level of interaction with the teacher and with other students. Students will be required to respond to a discussion question each week and will also be required to comment on other students' responses.

Weekly Breakdown:
Week 1 - The Everyday Look: A simple and easy everyday make-up routine.
Week 2 - The Glowy Look: This look focuses on the importance of skincare, highlighter, and the use of cream-based products.
Week 3 - The Bronzed Goddess Look: Focuses on contour, powdered bronzer, and light eye shadow.
Week 4 - The Dolled-Up Look (Formal): Focuses on eyeliner, choosing a lip color, and eyebrow fill.
