Let's learn some beats & have some fun! 🌟REQUEST A TIME -- I would be happy to work with your aspiring drummer! The objective of this private drum lesson is to enable the student to gain a greater set of technical and musical skills on the drum set, and to help the student develop a greater understanding of the role of the drum set in modern contemporary music. This is achieved through the repetitive practices of technique and coordination, as well as developing critical listening skills demanded of drummers. The lessons will meet the student at their skill level and assess ways in which they can grow as a drummer. *Open to discuss need-based discounts. The goal is to make happy drummers regardless of funds.

Areas covered include playing drum beats and building on them, rudimental practice, strengthening time playing and developing one’s musical vocabulary.Other Details

👩🏼🎓 In addition to being a lifelong drummer, I have a journalism degree from Appalachian State University, and I am a certified instructor of UCLA & Remo's "Beat The Odds" a program that blends drumming and social-emotional learning for kids & adults.
