Make Unicorn Slime & Story

Students will actively listen to a unicorn story and will answer questions. Students will then have fun learning step by step how to make "Unicorn Slime." Students will make clear slime and add their favorite colored confetti!

Class Experience

April 9th is officially Unicorn day but we like to celebrate everyday! Students will listen to a fun unicorn story. Students will answer questions about the story as a class. Then we will celebrate by making Unicorn Slime! The teacher will show the students step by step  how to make clear slime and then students can add their favorite confetti/glitter. Students can add add  pink, purple, blue, or whatever color they prefer. Students can be creative and add whatever color glitter/ confetti that they wish. Students will show their slime to the class and will have time to actively play with their slime.

Parental Guidance
Parents - please supervise your child as needed. Younger students may need help stirring and mixing ingredients together. This slime is not edible. Supply List
Supplies for Class
1 cup clear glue (students may also use white glue if they prefer) 
1/2 cup of liquid starch 

Optional Items For Slime: 
Pink, purple, blue glitter/ confetti(or whatever color the student prefers)
Student may also bring dye if they choose to color their slime
Student may also use unicorn confetti/ glitter if they would like. I found some fun unicorn  glitter/confetti on Amazon 


Tools Needed:
Tray 
Large mixing bowl
Measuring cup 
Spoon
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
