35 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one time class students will learn about animals that live in the North Pole as well as the environment they live in. 1. Introductions: I will introduce myself, and then ask students an ice breaker question. Example: If you could have any superpower, what would it be? 2. Go over classroom rules: Be respectful to everyone. Raise our hand if we have a question or want to share something. Not to interrupt other students if they are speaking. 3. Students will then learn interesting facts about a variety of animals that live in the North Pole such as their habitat, predator and prey relationships, and body parts. This will be done through PowerPoint and short videos. Students will be encouraged to share experiences, facts, and participate in discussion. Some animals we will learn about are Polar Bears, Seals and Wolfs. 4. We will then make Reindeer food to put out on Christmas Eve for our furry friends!
