**We limit this small group class to 4 students to ensure that every child is getting individualized learning opportunities and feels comfortable and supported. We want our kids to feel like they are learning and growing in every class. Limiting the number of students allows time for everyone to ask questions, have discussions and be able to fully flex their educational muscles!** Are you looking for a different way for your students to learn math? Then this is the class for them! This class is designed for students with Autism, ADHD and Neurodiverse Learners who are looking to learn or review first grade math concepts. By incorporating personal interests (characters/kid friendly topics) into each lesson, it will allow students to be engaged for the entire 30 minutes. I will also be providing numerous learning options so no matter what kind of learner students are, they will be able to grasp the material. If you child is a visual learner, we will have numerous PowerPoints, charts, graphs and diagrams so they can see all the information. If they are an auditory learner, I always make sure to explain everything thoroughly so students understand the topic. Even if your child is a kinesthetic learner, there will be time that we will be moving to practice our math skills. Most importantly this class is a no judgement zone. Every student will feel safe and able to be themselves in this class while they learn and have fun! Each week students will learn new basic math skills in a fun and exciting way! Join us as we do math lessons on important topics. Each week we will have a new lesson theme, and we will learn the math using popular characters that will make your child EXCITED TO LEARN!
