In this one time class, we'll learn how to make the Australian children's snack Fairy Bread, as well as learn the history of the mythological creatures, fairies! Lead by Miss Cassidy, learners will be guided as they make their own bread, butter, and sprinkle snacks. We'll learn to make two different styles of fairy bread as we practice our motor skills by spreading, shaking, rolling, and cutting with a cookie cutter. And as we snack we'll learn about the history and magic of fairies while we discuss our own favorite fairy. Learners are welcome to come in costume or with any favorite fairy things they may have for a show and tell. This class is inclusive, which means Learners of all abilities and backgrounds are welcome. Together we work to build an inclusive environment that encourages, supports, and celebrates our diverse voices. We share and respect pronouns, we support each other's Learning differences, and we create a safe space for all Learners. If you or your Learner needs any accommodations please let me know and we will work together to ensure that they have the best possible class experience.
Learning Goals
Learners will practice their motor skills by spreading, shaking, rolling, and cutting with a cookie cutter. Learners will also practice social and listening skills as we discuss our favorite fairies.

Please be sure the butter knife and cookie cutters the Learner is using are safe and dull.
