In this one-time class your child will do three activities that peak their creativity to discover scientific explanations. They will make chalk using egg shells, create a shatter-proof egg barrier, and will make a food color caterpillar!

Description
Class Experience
Learners will improve their skills in gravity concepts and capillary viscosity (what makes the colors soak into the paper towel.). They will learn the components of the scientific method and focus on the engineering part. Furthermore, they will analyze the success of their creations.
no homework. A notebook to brainstorm and reflect would be useful.
10 egg SHELLS bowl for grinding shells assorted food coloring notebook & pencil paper towels 8 clear plastic cups 1 HARD BOILED egg materials for learners to create a shatter-proof egg protector (straws, rubberbands, masking tape etc)
No grade. Teacher will observe their progress and provide verbal feedback.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents may need to provide guidance and materials.
