Do you love to draw and make origami? Join MAKE: Art Camp! Every week, this on-going camp will breakdown into the following sections: CHECK-IN: Learners will make introductions and have the opportunity to share something special. MAKE ART: Learners will lead the direction of their own work inspired by weekly artistic themes with opportunities to socialize and share. GALLERY: The class will end with a virtual gallery of the artwork! Join any week and make Art with us! No previous artistic experience required! Here are the artistic themes we will be exploring: Week of June 28th & 29th: Face Machines Week of July 6th & 7th: Origami Week of July 13th & 14th: Zine Week of July 20th & 23rd: Alebrijes Week of July 27th & 29th: Watercolors More themes will be added at a later date.

To make Art together with opportunities to share, encourage others and learn a new artistic technique.

Parental Guidance
Help your learner participate by setting up their space with areas to draw and listen!
Supply List
Paper and basic drawing materials including pencils and colors.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Vero is an Italian teaching artist who holds a B.A. in Visual and Performing Arts. She moved to the US a few years ago after living in various places in the world. Her interest is mainly on contemporary art, but her passion for the social emotional learning, pushed her to work between art and education, where she creates lessons that address deep topics through creativity.
In the last 10 years Vero has worked for various contemporary art institutions and taught to elementary and high school kids. In her free time Vero is earning her second degree in psychology.Reviews
