US Grade Kindergarten - 3
*Use code SLESSTRY2 for $2 off your first class with me!* Let's spread some homemade holiday cheer this season! In this class, I will guide learners through creating a holiday card for the recipient of their choice, using minimal supplies. These cards are able to be used for any winter holiday you may observe! First, we will discuss the tradition of sending or giving cards to family members and friends during the holiday season. Learners will be welcome to share their experiences with giving or recieving cards (or other things) during this time. Then, I will guide and assist learners in creating a holiday card to give to someone they care about. We will write a message inside the card first, and I will assist as needed with writing and spelling skills. Finally, we will decorate the front of the card using the supplies you have available (see supply section). Very few supplies are needed, so this is a great option for a last-minute or low-prep class!
Learning Goals
Learners will develop fine motor skills during the writing and decorating of their cards. They will also work on writing/spelling skills, art skills, discussion, and more!
