Make a Winter Holiday Village in Creative Minecraft (Bedrock)

In this four day class learners will work to make a holiday village! Each day will have a new task to complete and if learners finish early they can go back and add more to previous task. Learners will be asked on day one if they would like to work alone or together. Learners will put their building skills to the test each day! On day four we will spend time showing everyone what we were able to accomplish! 

Class will begin with the teacher telling learners the holiday village task for the day and showing a simple example. Learners will then be given time to build their creations and add as much detail as they would like. After learners have been given time to create their creations they will have time to finish previous task if time permits. On day four the class will come together to view each others creations, provide positive feedback, and ask any questions on how each other completed their village. 

Day One: build your main house and complete the inside decorations
Day Two: build the outside components of your holiday village 
Day Three: add holiday theming 
Day Four: put finishing touches on your village and celebrate each other’s success 

Each day we will play Minecraft together in a secure and private game room. The teacher will set up a private gaming room for learners to use together! We will play in creative mode. The teacher will serve as a moderator during class ensuring game play is kept appropriate and all learners are able to share and participate. 

Please have a separate device for playing the game available during class.
