Description

Class Experience

Ready to become a special effects wizard? All you need is a camera phone or tablet and the iMovie app to make magic happen! In our video editing bootcamp, you'll learn a variety of incredible special effects through structured mini-projects that all lead to a final movie. Your movie-making skills will be off the charts by the end of this class.

Day 1: Making Objects Disappear & Using Filters
Day 2: Split Screens
Day 3: Green-Screen Effects
Day 4: Combining Your Clips into a Short Movie

This class is taught in English.

Learners will be able identify and create with the following special effects: Transitions, Split-Screens, Filters, and Green-Screen Effects.

Learners will need 
- iMovie app on a phone, ipad, or computer. 
- green paper for green screen effect

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:imovie
Google Docs

3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

• Learners will need access to an Apple phone, tablet, or computer to access the iMovie app. 
• I will share templates using Google Docs which can be downloaded to a variety of formats, printed or copied onto notebook paper. Learners are not required to use google accounts or to share their google account information.

The lessons for this class are all original.
