Make a Realistic Miniature Polymer Clay Sandwich Charm

Class
Sara Neitzert
Average rating:5.0Number of reviews:(4)
Make a tiny realistic looking sandwich charm or earrings out of polymer clay using texture and shading in this one-time class!

Class experience

As a life-long crafter, utilizing any medium I can get my hands on, I have been working with polymer clay, making miniatures and jewelry for over 25 years. I absolutely love anything and everything in tiny form, so realistic miniature polymer clay food has become my specialty! I am very excited to share my crafting knowledge and skills with your learner.
Below is a list of the supplies required to create your clay masterpieces. I will include a link to a list an Amazon that will have all the supplies, but feel free to purchase these supplies from any shops or websites you prefer.

Required Supplies
1. Polymer Clay
I prefer to use Sculpey or Fimo. The Amazon supply list includes a variety pack of fimo, but if you prefer to purchase individual colors, the colors we will use are red, green, white, pink, and brown or beige.

2. Polymer Clay tools
Specifically a large and small dotting tool, both are included in the set on the Amazon list.

3. Brown & Yellow Chalk Pastels
The Amazon list has set with a full range of colors, but we will only be using brown and yellow if you prefer to purchase a smaller set.

4. Knife or blade**

5. Paintbrush
We will only need one small paint brush. The Amazon list includes a set of brushes.

6. Earring hooks

7. Screw Eye Hooks

8. Jewelry Pliers

9. Polymer Clay Glaze (Optional - Some learners may want to glaze their projects once they have baked and cooled, but this step is not required.)

** Adult supervision may be required.

Depending on the child’s age, this class may require adult supervision when using some of the tools, including a knife, and when baking their polymer clay.
