Class Experience
Children can make their own nature journals using recycled papers, and other papers on hand. They can choose to create little pockets inside their journals to collect natural items and use the enclosed pages to draw their thoughts, feelings and observations. Simple materials needed: scissors, hole-puncher, glue-stick, ribbons, tape and crayons/markers as well as a used paper grocery bag and other papers you might have to use. Simple art supplies: scissors, hole-puncher, glue-stick, tape ,ribbons/twine/yarn and paper- recycled grocery paper bags. A more detailed suggested materials list will be provided upon registration Parental guidance is required for the use of scissors and hole-puncher.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
