Kids love to make things they can use! In this class students will learn a method for making simple boxes out of paper. We will work step by step to cut, measure, and glue our boxes. As we go, there will be opportunity to ask questions and share results with the class. The kids will also be introduced to how they can make lids for their boxes (which can be completed after or during class time permitting) and we will discuss gift giving and collecting and talk about things we could use our...

Paper, preferably decorative paper: can be wrapping paper, scrapbook paper, or origami sheets Scissors Pencil Ruler Double sided tape or glue Decorative stickers/ribbon/items to embellish *This method can use regular computer paper, but I encourage you to find some beautiful paper around the house, such as scrapbooking paper to make it a more rewarding experience for your child. Also, please have the paper already in a square or rectangular shape.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
