Did you know that about half of college students change their major and only about 20% of college graduates work in a field related to their undergraduate major? This class begins by exploring some common and not-so-common college majors as well as transferable skills gained through a college education. Next, students will play an interactive game that will allow them to creatively match skills and knowledge gained through these majors to a variety of settings. The class will end with a...
Students will learn about a variety of majors available at most four-year colleges. Students will learn the truth about some of the common misconceptions about college majors. Students will make connections between majors and transferable skills. Students will practice communicating their transferable skills.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
