This is a Learner Directed class that will meet only once based upon the needs of the parent and learner. This way parents and students have more flexibility to enroll in some one-on-one help for their student without feeling the need to enroll for ongoing group sessions or an ongoing one-on-one tutoring session. Since this is a learner directed class, the student will be able to bring to me any math concepts that they would like extra instruction or help in and that is what we will focus on...
I'm always a big proponent of a good old fashioned paper and pencil. But, if there is homework help needed, please make sure that the student has the homework with them before class starts.
