Description
Class Experience
In this 40 minute class, young artists will create beautiful mushrooms using a variety of art mediums. First, students will be given step-by-step instructions for drawing the mushrooms, grassy hill, and small flowers around the mushrooms. Next, we will use crayons and markers to prepare our drawings for the wax-resist technique, a demonstration will be provided. Then it's time to watercolor paint! Students will paint this beautiful scene using the wet-wash & wax-resist watercolor...

I have been an art educator for over 25 years. I earned my bachelor's degree in Art Education (K-12) from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have taught in public schools, private schools, as well as homeschool co-op groups and private lessons. I have been teaching art on Outschool since August 2021.
