Virtual Field Trip (VFT) On this VFT, we'll visit one of the overwintering sites of the Monarch Butterfly in Mexico. You’ll learn about what the Monarchs do in Mexico and its cultural significance to the people of Mexico. We'll also discuss how Monarchs are counted at the overwintering sites which aids in Monarch research and tracking. Note: Our VFTs are not a collection of images and videos gathered from the web. This content was produced on location. Our team and guides have visited all of our VFT locations and your guide will have first-hand knowledge of the overwintering sites in Mexico. Classes are visiting locations such as space stations, underwater marine labs, and foreign countries in the span of just one school day…AND…it’s all live interaction!
With the launch of GEOshow in the Spring of 2015, Learn Around The World (i.e., learnATW) jumped to the forefront of the virtual field trip revolution. Today, learnATW is pushing Virtual Field Trips to the limit with it’s unique, authentic programming!
