Class Experience
Virtual Field Trip On this virtual field trip, we'll visit one of the overwintering sites of the Monarch Butterfly in Mexico. During this virtual field trip, you’ll learn about what the Monarchs do in Mexico and it's cultural significance to the people of Mexico. We'll also discuss how Monarchs are counted at the overwintering sites which aids in Monarch research and tracking. Students will virtually visit an overwintering site in Mexico. Students will learn about the migration patterns of the Monarch. Students will learn the four life stages of the Monarch. Students will learn actionable projects to help the Monarchs. Students will learn about the Monarch’s cultural significance in Mexico.
