6 in-class hoursClass Experience
Your students will learn while they do in this cooking class as they watch me cook the recipes. The only background knowledge will be how to be able to slightly cook. There is no homework assigned but the students will have a final project that they must create themselves and have both me and the other students be able to cook also. Student's will be cooking every week. Learning progress is evaluated by seeing that the student can make the weekly project and it looks similar or better than what I have made. Week 1: Pizza Puffs Week 2: Red Haired Momma Meatballs Week 3: Auntie's Pudding Week 4: Player's Pie Week 5: Bangers and Mash Week 6: Sausage Rolls Week 7: Canary Creams Week 8: Apple Pie Every week I will send out the recipes for your student to follow along with during class time. I also recommend that your student pre-measure out their ingredients before each class. This helps keep the class moving. And another thing in my classes I will occasionally ask your student to make things outside of class time(every student will know about this before each class). These are not difficult tasks and your student should be able to do these tasks on their own.
Learning Goals
Students will learn cooking recipes for a fantasy magical world. Please be aware this is a 45 minute cooking class, there may some cooking required ahead of class in certain class weeks. I will have the finished recipes ahead of time if they can not be finished in class. Not all recipes are finished in class.
****Your student must be able to work on their own or with you. Questions are encouraged during class cooking time when your students do not understand something, but we also have to stick to a **strict schedule so if you student can not follow a quick moving class, this may not be for you. And please see the refund policy in place currently. Also we do share the recipes in class briefly to make things easier for your students if you can not print out the recipes.
Also you should have your ingredients for the classes pre-measured if possible. This helps cut down on in class time and makes more time for questions about the steps involved with the recipes:)

Parental Guidance
There will be no mature or sensitive content in this class. You will need to have a parent near by in the last class as we will be frying in hot oil, in case you never used it before. You will need to use knives for cutting, small appliances(like blenders, food processors, etc.)
Supply List
I provide all the recipes. You will be responsible for the purchase of cooking materials(i.e.butter, flour) and having cooking implements and such. The cost varies per recipe but I try to keep the cost as low as possible. I will always send out the ingredients every week to your outschool account. Week 1: Pizza Puffs • 3/4 cup flour • 1 teaspoon baking powder • 3/4 cup milk • 1 egg lightly beaten • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozza or cheddar, I used a mix) • 3/4 cup mini pepperoni or cooked sausage • 1/2 red or green pepper finely diced • 1/2 teaspoon each basil & garlic powder • 3/4 teaspoon oregano • 4 mozzarella cheese strings • 1/2 cup store-bought pizza sauce
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I love Magic world books! I have made several magical parties for my kids and families with the food from these recipes and they loved it. I would love to see all kids being able to learn the important life skills of cooking and these recipes are also delicious. I have an approach to cooking that all children can be taught to cook and make food, no matter what age. All it takes is hard work and plenty of practice.
