Description
Class Experience
Each week class will begin with a warm up that will include stretching exercises on the floor as well as standing. Students will learn one new ballet step each week that we will focus on throughout the class. Each week a new theme will be introduced, themes include: Trolls, The Lion King, Descendants and Frozen. An instructional game will be played each week in addition to freeze dance. And a coloring sheet will be provided each week in accordance to the theme of the class. Each Sunday I...
Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short ballet dance which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music will also teach the student how to develop musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!
Weekly coloring sheets will be posted for learners to color and post in the classroom. There will be a step of the week each week that we will focus on. The learner will post a photo or video of the step in the classroom for discussion.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back.
