Description
Class Experience
-Meet the Composer: Danny Elfman. -Explore film-score music. -Understand musical terms: film-composer, film-score, soundtrack. -Recognize musical pieces & how they can create an atmosphere in a film.
There will not be additional homework assigned however, students are encouraged to listen to musical piece outside of classroom.
Students are encouraged to take notes . -Paper/pen or pencil. -Headsets/Headphones/Ear-buds (recommended for a higher quality listening experience)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Student's progress is assessed informally through observation and any class presentations.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Listening Warning: Some of the film music provided in class can be a little scary for younger children. Youtube page will be used to listen to all of our recordings.(This will be through ScreenShare Presentation will be provided through CANVA. (This will be through ScreenShare) Students will be provided with an additional Google Slides link.
