* NOTE: This is a flexible scheduled class with pre-recorded videos. No live meetings are held. Learners are encouraged to take the class at their own pace! Assignments will be posted at various times throughout each week. Join the Little Mermaid for a magical 4 week flex-course filled with mermaid stories, crafts, and even a mermaid math escape room! *Please ask for sibling discounts. Each week, a video will be posted of the princess reading aloud a story. Games such as "Ariel Says", scavenger hunts, or charades will be played in the videos so learners can participate at home. She will also post fun worksheets and crafts for students to complete during the week! Supplies for the crafts can be found around the house or at the local dollar store. The teacher will be available throughout the classroom to give assistance and answer questions if needed. Videos will be recorded with a high-quality, professional document camera so your learner is easily able to follow along. See below for each week in detail: ✨ Week 1: Story-time "The Little Mermaid"/Design a Mermaid Tail Craft ✨ Week 2: Story-time "How to Catch a Mermaid"/Fish Painting Craft ✨ Week 3: Story-time "Lola"/Jellyfish Craft ✨ Week 4: Story-time Mermaid Escape Room "Mermaid School"/Mermaid Crown Craft & Royal Coronation Ceremony (if learners have completed Vol. 2, the escape room and the coronation ceremony will be repeated.) Parental Guidance
Parents may need to assist younger learners for each craft time. They will be using supplies such as glue, scissors, tape, paint, etc.
