Magical Kitchen: First Year Magic Students!
Class experience
Your student will learn how to cook and make favorite dishes from a magic based fantasy world. They will learn via watching me cook and also doing hands on cooking with themselves. There is no background knowledge required, we will be working on cooking every week in class. Homework is going to be working on the final project and also every week you will show me that you have done the prior week's cooking if you haven't finished it. Learning progress is evaluated by seeing that the student...
Students will learn cooking recipes for a fantasy magical world. Please be aware this is a 45 minute cooking class, there may some cooking required ahead of class in certain class weeks. I will have the finished recipes ahead of time if they can not be finished in class. Not all recipes are finished in class. ****Your student must be able to work on their own or with you. Questions are encouraged during class cooking time when your students do not understand something, but we also have to stick to a **strict schedule so if you student can not follow a quick moving class, this may not be for you. And please see the refund policy in place currently. Also we do share the recipes in class briefly to make things easier for your students if you can not print out the recipes. Also you should have your ingredients for the classes pre-measured if possible. This helps cut down on in class time and makes more time for questions about the steps involved with the recipes:)
I love the Magic world books! I have made several magical parties for my kids and families with the food from these recipes and they loved it. I would love to see all kids being able to learn the important life skills of cooking and these recipes are also delicious. I have an approach to cooking that all children can be taught to cook and make food, no matter what age. All it takes is hard work and plenty of practice. All students coming in should be able to follow a quick moving class and be independent at cooking. Questions are encouraged during class and while not in class also. I always respond within a few hours to 1 day.
I will be providing the recipes for all the lessons to the students who sign up so that they can make them. Other than food you will need to purchase, you will need basic kitchen cooking supplies like pots, spoons, knives, etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be no mature or sensitive content in this class. You will need to have a parent near by in the last class as we will be frying in hot oil, in case you never used it before. You will need to use knives for cutting, small appliances(like blenders, food processors, etc.)
All recipes will be shared before classes. You will need to provide the ingredients and also cooking implements.
