Magic Word Art Illustrations: Turn Spelling Into Awesome Drawings!

Whether your student loves to draw, needs a confidence-boost in spelling, or wants to learn how to create awesome art and doesn't know where to start, Magic Word Art Illustration class has something for everyone. We will meet once a week to learn how to create impressive drawings out of the correct spellings of words. Your student will learn word art tricks each week sure to impress their friends.

Whether your student has never heard of a word art illustrations before or has attempted one previously, this class will help them improve their drawing skills and give them new ideas of impressive word art illustration tricks to show their friends. This course is for any student that enjoys being creative, has an interest in art, would like to improve their drawing, or needs some spelling practice with common words. The only prior skill required is the ability to follow detailed and slow visual and verbal directions.

In each live class meeting, I will go step-by-step through the process of writing words, perfecting handwriting, and then turning the word into an amazing, colorful piece of word art. Students will also have the chance to share their word art with the class as they complete each word art illustration. This class should leave your student feeling accomplished and relaxed each week - empowering them with new art ideas and the ability to teach their friends or family a cool new word art illustration trick. Students are encouraged to work within a dedicated sketchbook to create a portfolio of all of their word art illustration creations they learn in this class.

Students can join this on-going class at any time and will begin working in their word art illustration sketchbook during their first class with me. Students will have the opportunity to interact with me during class for support as needed, as well as talk and share with other students.
