1 hour per week. Read from the book series "Magic Tree House"Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
The "Magic Tree House" series lets learners explore different worlds and go on adventures. Being able to share their love for the book series, help them build a love for reading. They also lean about different topics. Each week a different book is chosen for the learners to read outside of class. Once they are in class they can share their favorite moments in the book. I also provide discussion questions to get the group to participate in a discussion. Learners are free to ask their own questions. Talking about the reading and getting into the habit of reading every week help build comprehension skills as well. Here is a weekly breakdown of the book list.
