Your student will learn about England in the 1800's and meet Charles Dickens in this wonderful adventure of Jack and Annie as they complete their mission to bring happiness to others by helping 4 creative people brings gifts to the world. Each student will need to finish reading, "A Ghost Tale for Christmas Time" before the first class. After a discussion of the story, the students will make a special festive lantern. Students will read fiction and non-fiction literature. Students will be introduced to the classic story, "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens Students will make application of story in creative craft. Students will be encouraged to research a variety of sources.
