Class Experience
In this 2 week course, we will read and discuss Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark! This is the first book of the Magic Tree House series! This is a great chapter book for readers who are just getting into chapter books! We will work together and treat this like a book club. The reading will be done at home, so the book is required for this class. We will be discussing the story in class. We will learn how to identify the characters, setting and major events, as well as, asking and...
Students will read Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark and discuss different story elements in the book!
There will be reading to complete before the course starts and after classes 1, 2 and 3. They will need to read 2 chapters after each class and be ready to discuss the following class.
Learners will need to have access to Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark by Mary Pope Osborne. They will also need the printables for class that will be posted in the classroom tab!
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
