Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Magic Tree House Book Club will be a fun class as your child will travel to a different place using their imaginations as they read the books. In each class we will talk about what happened in the book we just read. We will also talk about the challenges Jack and Annie faced, how they solved them and if there was any other ways to solve their encounters.

We will talk about what we learned in each book and how it may help us in challenges we may face everyday. We will also talk about fact and fiction in each book we read. We will also have a friendly trivia battle in each class about things from the book we just read. I hope your child is ready for a fun adventure.

We will meet once a week for 9 weeks for 40 minutes per class. Students will need to read the chapter book every week. Here is the book list of the Magic Tree House books.

Class # 1 Book # 1 Dinosaurs Before Dark
Class # 2 Book # 2 The Knight at Dawn
Class # 3 Book # 7 Sunset of the Sabertooth
Class # 4 Book #8 Midnight on the Moon

Class # 6 Book # 12 Polar Bears Past Bedtime
Class # 7 Book # 13 Vacation Under the Volcano
Class # 8 Book # 17 Tonight on The Titanic
Class #9 Book # 19 Tigers at Twilight

Students will come to class each week having read the book for that week and ready to discuss their favorite parts of that book. On the last week we will not only battle over that week’s book but over all 9 books. We will discuss which book was their favorite and why.

Students will love all of the history and traveling to awesome places in these books. These books will encourage them to read more and more on their own. These books are full of adventure and some awesome facts about history which could help them in school.
